Sammi Glatczak

5'8" Point Guard Class of 2023

I am a 5'8" left hand dominant point guard/shooting guard.
I love the sport of basketball and want to make it to the next level and if possible, make a career out of it.
I play wholehearted and I am a leader both on and off the court.
I pride myself on being a lockdown defender. I am typically assigned to guard the most aggressive offensive player on the opposing team.
My offensive style focuses on constant movement with many screens and quick, smart passes.
I am a flexible player who enjoys dishing the ball, but after a year off due to an ACL tear, I have become a shooting threat from the outside as well as in the paint.

My Passions

My life revolves around sports, I play both basketball and soccer.
I play soccer for Polonia Soccer Club in the Midwest Regional League.
I had also played volleyball on the Greendale High School Junior Varsity team as a freshman, but it no longer fits in my busy schedule.
I have played soccer from the age of four, although now I live and breathe basketball.

On long road trips or on rare free weekends my family and I enjoy playing cards and board games.
Another interest that I have is a love for reading, especially the fantasy genre.
Recently I became involved with cooking classes. Nutrition and maintaining a healthy diet have become a priority.
Lastly, I spend a large portion of my time lifting weights so I can perform at a high level in every physical activity.
